60 minutes to forever: Niagara Falls invites couples to one-hour Valentine’s Day weddings

Special programming includes Valentine’s Day themed flowers and decor and a sparkling beverage toast for the couple.

The City of Niagara Falls has invited couples to tie the knot this Valentine’s Day in an “elevated” wedding experience at City Hall or the Niagara Falls History Museum.

The Niagara Falls Clerks Department, which processes marriage licenses and perform civil wedding ceremonies, are offering a limited number of one-hour time slots for couples who are looking to get hitched on Feb. 14, according to a news release from the City.

Their “complimentary” special programming includes Valentine’s Day themed flowers and decor and a sparkling beverage toast for the happy couple.

To arrange a Valentine’s Day marriage, couples can contact the Office of the City Clerks at clerks@niagarafalls.ca or by calling (905) 356-7521 ext. 0 while space remains.

A marriage licence must be obtained at City Hall before your ceremony start time for those who chose to married at the Niagara Falls History Museum.
