Bachman Turner-Overdrive (BTO) is coming to St. Catharines this April.

The Canadian rock band was revived in 2023 by Randy Bachman and now includes Randy’s son, Tal Bachman, singer of 1999 hit “She’s So High.”

“We always love playing Niagara. It’s a rock-and-roll town and the fans are awesome,” Tal told Dear Niagara.

“BTO first broke big not in the big cities, but in the heartland of areas of Canada and the United States. We wanted to honour that by playing in the places that first got behind the band 50 plus years ago, like Niagara,” Tal said.

Fellow Canadian rock bands April Wine and Headpins will be joining BTO on the tour.

The tour will kick off in Victoria, BC on April 1 and finishes May 8 in Halifax, NS.

Fans can expect to hear “all their favourite BTO hits,” Tal told Dear Niagara.

“We have re-tooled our set to include as much BTO music as possible. The production crew has also been busy at work revving up a light and video show,” he said.

BTO is behind worldwide hits including “Takin’ Care Of Business” and “You Ain’t Seen Nothing Yet.”

Fans will also get to hear the band perform hits from The Guess Who, Canadian classic rock group founded by Randy Bachman and Burton Cummings.

Both Randy and Cummings were inducted into the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2005.

When asked about any sneak peaks into the show, Tal told Dear Niagara, “We might just have an audience sing-along jam session at the end of the show, just for fun.”

BTO will play the St. Catharines Meridian Centre on Apr. 28.
