Here are Niagara’s candidates in Ontario’s upcoming election (so far)

With the upcoming provincial election taking place later this month, we’ve rounded up a list of the local candidates running in the Niagara Region.

Though a full list of candidates won’t be available until after 2 p.m. on Feb. 13 here’s who will be on the voter card so far:

St. Catharines

  • Robin McPherson – Ontario Liberal Party

  • Sal Sorrento – PC Party of Canada

  • Jennie Stevens – Ontario NDP

  • Stephen Vincelette-Smith – Green Party of Ontario

  • Rob Atalick – New Blue Party

  • Natalia Benoit – Stop the New Sex-Ed Agenda

Niagara Falls

  • Wayne J. Gates – Ontario NDP

  • Ruth-Ann Nieuwesteeg – PC Party of Ontario

  • Celia Taylor – Green Party of Ontario

  • Gary Dumelie – New Blue Party

  • Joedy Burdett – Independent

Niagara Centre

  • Jeff Burch – Ontario NDP

  • Damien O’Brien – Ontario Liberal Party

  • Jimmy Jackson – New Blue Party

  • Bill Steele - PC Party of Ontario

Niagara West

  • Dave Augustyn – Ontario NDP

  • Shauna Boyle – Ontario Liberal Party

  • Mark Harrison – Green Party of Ontario

  • Sam Oosterhoff - PC Party of Ontario

Election day is Feb. 27 with voting locations open from 9 a.m to 9 p.m.

You can apply to vote by mail before Feb. 21 at 6 p.m. to receive a voting kit in the mail.
