It’s election day. Here’s what you need to know
Voting in person on election day can be done anytime between 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. in Niagara at your assigned voting location.
Now that election day has finally arrived, it’s time for Ontarians to cast their ballot to elect their Member of Provincial Parliament.
Voting in person on election day can be done anytime between 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. in Niagara at your assigned voting location.
When arriving at a voting location, an election official will look at your ID to check if you are on the voters list.
If you have a voter information card, you are required to bring a piece of ID with your name on it, along with the card.
If you do not have a voter information card, you are required to bring one piece of ID with both your name and home address on it.
If you are not on the voters list, the election official checking your ID will add you and ask you to sign a declaration.
The election official will when issue a ballot and you will vote.
